Single Turn Potentiometer
 Design Guide

Selecting
a Single Turn Potentiometer
| • |
Determine size limitations, resistance, power requirements and mounting type.
| • |
Select Conductive Plastic element for long life and essentially infinite resolution. For use when wiper current will not exceed 5 milliamps.
| • |
Select a Wirewound element for better stability and lower temperature coefficient. Choose Wirewound when using the potentiometer as a variable resistor. Wiper current must not exceed 50 milliamps.
